As a child and emerging adult, I assumed I needed some mythical magic called "the green thumb" to grow plants. I believed that I didn't have the "literal green thumb" and that anything I touched or attempted to raise would wither and die. I saw my brother plant plants that grew and flourished. I would follow his methods, but I never yielded his result, and my conclusion above became my fact.
But as I grew older, I learned that for me, success in growing plants (and in life) didn't come from some innate ability like the green thumb or following my brother's method. Instead, it came from researching and understanding each plant's unique needs (or person's) and providing the appropriate resources and care.
It turns out that each plant is unique and requires specific resources like soil type, moisture, light exposure, nutrients, and more. Similarly, each person in our lives has their own needs, and if we take the time to learn and understand those needs, we can cultivate meaningful relationships and projects.
I encourage you to embrace your fears and pursue your dreams. Whether you want to grow a garden, a business, or a relationship, remember that success comes from learning and understanding the unique needs of what you're growing and providing the necessary care and patience. Believe and trust in your abilities to nurture and cultivate something beautiful
